By signing up for this tour, you agree to the terms stated below:

Reservations/Payment

  • All travelers must be 18+ adults on the tour. 

  • A 50% deposit is required for booking and holding a spot for the trip.  

Insurance

  • We recommend each traveler purchase travel insurance to ensure you are covered in case you have to cancel. There are different types of travel insurance, make sure you have health coverage, interruption or cancellation.

Cancellation/Refund

  • In an event of Force Majeure (Act of God, civil unrest, natural disaster, state of emergency, etc), you will be refunded 100%.

  • Cancellation - full refund up to 60 days before the trip. After that you will have cancellation fee of $300 USD.

Assumption of Risks and Release

  • You understand and acknowledge that you may participate in activities and risks arise. You assume all risk, and Explore Knitting Tours will be held harmless. 

  • Baggage/luggage is your responsibility. We will not be held responsible if anything happens to your belongings.

Accommodations

  • Health and/or diet restrictions to be made known at least 60 days before the trip. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all health and/or dietary restrictions.

  • We will make reasonable accommodations for the needs of travelers.. You must notify us in writing in advance to see if this is feasible.

Photo release 

  • You agree to have photographs taken during the travel to be used for business purposes to promote knitting tours, on the website, and social media.

What’s expected for travel?

What are the knitting classes?

Knitting workshops vary in subject. They will include instruction, patterns (if used), handouts, techniques, new skills, individual attention, and can be accommodated to fit the needs of the group. A class itinerary and what’s needed will be sent to you weeks in advance of the trip. 

What if I’m not a knitter?

That’s ok! Non-knitters welcome. If you want to bring a friend or partner, they are welcome. The rate is still the same. They can enjoy exploring or down time while classes are in session. 

Payment

50% deposit required at time of booking; 50% sixty (60) days prior to trip. Payment methods are credit card through the website.

What’s included? Not included?

Most meals (not all), hotels, all admission, knitting instruction/classes and workshops. 

Not included - transportation (unless otherwise stated in the trip), gratuities, alcohol, activities during free time, gifts, yarn purchases at yarn stores. 

What should I pack?

Within 30 days in advance of the trip, you will get an itinerary and information about weather and what to pack. Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes, outdoor gear for different weather.

Passports/Visas/Requirements

  • You are responsible for complying with the Passport/Visa/Foreign entry requirements. Please make sure your passport is valid 6 months beyond your travel date. Check with the state department (US citizens travel.state.gov).

  • Each traveler MUST purchase travel insurance (health coverage for a foreign country) and show proof of insurance after booking the trip. There are different types of travel insurance, make sure you have health coverage, interruption or cancellation.
